Art by Yashua Klos

I Love stumbling across beautiful things and today I stumbled across artist Yashua Klos's work online and I couldn't resist, I had to share it here on GoldenSense. Better yet (well for me) he's based here in New York and this upcoming February Yashua will be premiering his work at the Jack Tilton Gallery between Feb 20th & March 20th. My face will definitely be present and I urge you to stop by too. These pieces are breath taking for me, just from looking at online images but imagine in person! These artworks are massive in size as well, a lot over 30 ft tall. I'm so excited for this !!! If you can't already tell.

THE URBAN NOMAD W. ERYKAH BADU

If you did not know already I absolutely adore Erykah Badu. She is a longtime (longtime going back to childhood) favorite of mine and a gem like no other and lastly an idol of mine. I can go on but I will not continue to profess my love for her, haha. Jeremiah Alexis aka The Urban Nomad got the chance to sit down to personally interview Ms. Analog Girl In A Digital World in the flesh. This isn't my first time posting interview footage of Ms. Badu, over a year ago in October of 2011 I posted an interview conducted by made-blog.com and I think I have a new favorite Interview (click here). Badu discussed the maybes of The Soulquarians putting out an album together and the concept and emotional impact behind her beautiful yet controversial music video Window Seat.

Happy New Year.
I'm not into the whole New Year's resolution hype but as 2013 approached I've been thinking about making a habit of setting some goals up for myself daily, weekly, monthly, or all three. I find a New Year's resolution sort of pointless and down right corny. Why wait till January 1st to change things in your life and not just work toward changing gradually immediately. January 1st isn't going to make you do something immediately because its the first day of the new year. I started on some of my personal listed goals way before the New Year approached and here are some of them.

Goals: (1) Eat better. Ingest more greens and fruits (2) Cut down on procrastinating (3) Drink water MORE! (4) Finish (5) Plan ahead (6) Take care of myself first (7) Listen to Jazz daily (8) Begin a period of fasting (9) Create daily, weather its drawing, writing, etc. (10) Balance
